Mrs. Cheryl-Ann Andrews

(Pet grooming)

About Me

My name is Cheryl-Ann and I have been a groomer for 17 years. I started as a bather/brusher for a large national pet service chain back in 2000. I was sent to Kentucky where I was trained by John & Vivian Nash, of The Nash Academy and founder of the International Judges Association. In 2003 when I returned to New York, I worked in Paramus and Union, New Jersey for this chain. I quickly moved up the ladder and opened a grooming salon in Rockland County, New York. In 2006, I relocated back to Texas and opened another grooming salon in Missouri City, in Sugar Land, and in 2008 I opened another grooming salon at Westheimer & Eldridge in Houston. By that time I became not only a Grooming Salon Manager but also an Academy Instructor. In 2010, I left and ventured out to another large pet service chain and stayed with them until 2017 when I decided to step out of the corporate grind in order to get back to the pleasure and art of grooming. Instead of the hurried pace and assembly line rush of a big corporate grooming salon, I enjoy focusing on my clients and their pets. I opened PomChi Paws Grooming to serve the needs of my neighbors and their pets in the Humble area. I was featured in the Spring issue of Voyage Houston Magazine six months after opening my salon I am very honored. It was a privilege I was chosen to share my story. I am happy to announce that we are now in the Better Business Bureau as an Accredited Business. We are so humble to be a part of the BBB.
