Responsible for the overall vision, leadership, and management of the Mann Center for the Performing Arts, the region’s premier summer music festival situated in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park. Reports to a 40+ member Board of Directors and oversees a $26 million organization with a 22-acre campus. Expanded artistic programs to include new works and commissioning projects; create non-traditional artist pairings; and reflect, extend, and celebrate the Mann’s longstanding and eclectic presenting history. Refocused education programs and reignited community engagement activities to include family-oriented events. Responsible for internal management of 26 full-time staff and over 500+ seasonal staff. Serves as the key spokesperson for external affairs, including interfacing with leading civic and park officials, community relations, and the media/press. Serves as a board member for six organizations: Business Association of West Parkside, The Musical Fund Society, Astral Artists, Satell Institute, the Sunday Breakfast Club, and as Chair of the Board for the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. Has served as an adjunct professor at the Manhattan School of Music and Drexel University in their Graduate Arts Administration program. Trained as a cellist, earning a Bachelor of Music at Temple University and a Master of Science in Arts Administration/Management at Drexel University.
