I started working in the residential construction business back in 1988 with my husband Darryl. We build custom homes and have done several speck homes in the past. I work with the clients closely as far as the contract goes, picking out items for the home and my husband oversees the contractors in the field. After being in the construction business for several years, we decided that I needed to get my real estate license to advertise our homes ourselves. While overseeing all this, I also had a full-time teaching position which I just retired from for 32 years.
