After 40 years of teaching, all at Woodstock Elementary School, I still have a passion for helping children learn. In order to satisfy that passion, I work as a volunteer docent at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center and visit patients at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters with Ollie, a therapy dog. For me, the appeal of traveling stems from a curiosity and a desire to learn. Next on the itinerary are cooking classes in Tuscany.
