After spending 6 months in MA school, I got a job in a hospital as a phlebotomist and worked there for 7 years. I also trained in hematology and the coagulation lab. I then went back to nursing school, graduated and stayed in the same hospital in physical rehab for a year. I spent one year in the OR and then 5 years in med/surg nursing, after which i began doing private duty nursing. I stayed in private duty for about 15 years and was able to start my own nursing agency. I also bought and operated my own Jazz club for a few years. I am not ready for a new journey and have contemplated writing books. I have traveled extensively and have lots of stories.
