I am Dr. April Glasco, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Second Chance Last Opportunity, Inc. (SCLO), a nonprofit organization I founded more than 37 years ago and continue to lead today. My passion has always been to create opportunities for individuals and families facing life’s challenges by developing innovative programs that restore hope, build self-sufficiency, and strengthen communities.
Throughout my career, I have designed and implemented the signature programs that continue to serve as the foundation of SCLO’s mission. I believe in creating solutions that make a lasting impact, and it has been my privilege to help thousands of individuals and families rebuild their lives with dignity, compassion, and opportunity.
In addition to leading SCLO, I am a motivational speaker, author, and advocate for positive change. I have written two published books, along with additional self-help publications focused on personal growth, leadership, and empowerment. Whether I am speaking to organizations, businesses, churches, or community leaders, my goal is always the same—to inspire others to discover their purpose, overcome obstacles, and recognize that every challenge can become an opportunity for growth.
