As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, and also the proud parent of a Kumon dual program completer, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed. I was motivated to open my own Kumon Center in Forney, because I used to travel over 45 minutes each way to take my own son to Kumon. Luckily, there was an expansion area available in Forney. Helping children excel and do well in school has always been my dream. My dream came true when I opened the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Forney. Now I can bring the individualized benefits of the Kumon Program to children within my own community.
