One has described the word Amazing as "causing great surprise or wonder." I am in awe of how I've journeyed from where I've been, where I am right now, and where I'm about to go. Now, the world may view it as "startling impressive", I have used my imperfections to perfectly help empower people to become the very best versions of themselves. Hence the name, Angela Amazin; the "g" being absent because there is always room for growth. I am a Visionary Specialist, Certified Life Coach, Author, Founder of Amazing Vision Board Power, and the Amazingly Taking Your Power Back movement. These titles work in conjunction with each other or independently, depending on the need. What I realized many years ago was that I was able to manifest some of my own visions, goals, and dreams simply by writing them down, vision boarding, and coming up with a plan(s) of action to accomplish them. This enabled me to move fluently and positively in the lane of life, that was created specifically for me. Since these methods worked so wonderfully, it was indeed a path of purpose for me to share these techniques with those who are ready for practical and productive change. As a master barber/stylist of thirty-three years, what I wanted for my future self, was extremely important and I saw those things come full circle as my hopes became reality as an entrepreneur and owner of two hair salons. During those former years, I often gave and shared advice with my clients as we put into perspective their view(s) of the past, present, and future. Retiring from the haircare field, over three years ago, lead me to seek out ways to share my gift and add validity to things that I believe, can change ones trajectory for the better. Being the mother of three wonderful children and now glam-mother of two beautiful granddaughters, I strive to be a living legacy and generational curse breaker. I am the first author in my family with my penned self-help book, Amazingly Powerful and my e-book, 7 Days of Amazing Daily Positive Affirmations. Both are empowerment tools, geared to help women and men, persevere from situations that are depressive, draining, and debilitating. I am also a huge advocate of caregivers and that underserved community is one that I will strive to put on the forefront. These individuals have superhero strength, courage, and tenacity but often lose sight of the fact that they must care for themselves, in order to be the best in caring for someone else. Community service is extremely important to me and giving back is a vital part of my upbringing. All of this, resides under the umbrella that the almighty placed over me so that I can help others weather the rain and in most cases, the storms that life hurls our way.
