Although Adrienne V. Goodman now calls Virginia Beach home, she grew up as a military dependent and understands the unique benefits and challenges that are known only to military families. Adrienne was born in Washington state, but moved every two years (including several cross-country moves) until her family settled in Hampton Roads the summer before her freshman year of high school. Adrienne graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College (now University), and Regent University School of Law. Although Adrienne was appreciative of the many opportunities that she had as a military dependent, she enjoyed the ability to remain in one place and loved all that Hampton Roads has to offer. Before attending law school, Adrienne worked in the Norfolk Juvenile Court’s clerk’s office and as a paralegal for a private firm. Unlike many of her law school colleagues, Adrienne knew when she began law school that she wanted to practice in the area of family law, where she could use her personal and professional experience to assist families in resolving the complex issues involved with divorce, child custody, and child support. Adrienne began her career as a solo practitioner in Virginia Beach where she focused her practice on family law and civil litigation. In 2016, Adrienne partnered with Charles L. Pincus, III, forming the law firm of Pincus Goodman, P.C. where she continues to concentrate in the areas of family law and civil litigation. As a boutique practice, Pincus Goodman offers Adrienne the ability to dedicate the time necessary to succeed when dealing with the complex issues of family law cases. Adrienne is admitted to practice in all Virginia courts and is a member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association. During her free time, Adrienne enjoys traveling with her husband and children, paddle boarding, reading, and attending live music shows.
